Welcome to the Peekskill Middle School website. This website offers various resources for staff, students, and families. Please peruse all the links and information. If you have any questions feel free to call/e-mail at your leisure. We are excited for a positive and productive school year in our new and wonderful educational environment. We have created a student friendly and learning atmosphere whereas expectations and challenges have been established for all students, grades 6-8. The staff have been focused on the wonderful technology available through professional development and collaboration within. I am very proud of the approach and focus they have had with these resources. These 21st century tools allow all students to interact and connect with the learning process. The discussions and presentations are truly, "coming alive." It is a very exciting time and we are looking forward to taking those next steps with respect to our students' achievement, focus, and motivation in school.

"If children live with criticism, they learn to condemn. If children live with hostility, they learn to fight. If children live with ridicule, they learn to be shy. If children live with shame, they learn to feel guilty. If children live with encouragement, they learn confidence. If children live with praise, they learn to appreciate. If children live with fairness, they learn justice. If children live with security, they learn to have faith. If children live with approval, they learn to like themselves. If children live with acceptance, they learn to find love in the world." D.L. Nolte

"An artist must be free to choose what he does, certainly, but he must also never be afraid to do what he might choose. Hold fast to your dreams, for without them life is a broken winged bird that cannot fly." Langston Hughes

Thank you and enjoy the school year, Dr. Fine
